Building...and Growing
This past week in Connecticut, I had the opportunity to step away from the day-to-day of running our building company and dive deep into the business of building…building a better business. Alongside fellow members in my Remodelers Advantage Roundtable, we conducted a live case study at the headquarters of Titus Built, where we peeled back the curtain on Jeff Titus’s company—sharing ideas, challenging assumptions, and pushing each other to grow.
This isn’t just an upgrade…it’s a game changer.

These business development sessions aren’t just about numbers or processes. (Though there were plenty of those!) For me, they’re part of a larger transformation.
Every time I engage with this group, I gain more clarity on how Cowdin Design + Build can scale intentionally—without losing the soul of what makes us special. I’m walking away from this week with a fresh insight on leadership accountability, our marketing storytelling, and operational consistency.
A Time of Revitalization...
But more than that, I leave inspired. Inspired to lead with even greater purpose. To better serve our clients by being clearer, faster, and more communicative. To support my team with the structure they need to thrive.
And to show up stronger—for my family, for my business, and for the community we help shape through our work.
