Cowdin Design + Build was founded in 2008 by Bill Cowdin in the spare bedroom of his canton home. The company quickly outgrew the space by hiring 2 designers, an office manager, and a project manager. In 2014, we established our roots when we moved into our current location, Old Village Plymouth. What started as a kitchen and basement remodeling business grew into complex whole home remodeling, additions, and even new ground-up construction. <br> Today, under Bill Cowdin’s leadership, our team of ten retains the core principles the company was founded upon while focusing all of our attention on high-level interior remodels and additions. After fifteen years of operations, our many successes (and yes, even a couple of failures) have given us the experience to build whatever you can dream up. We are very proud that over 1200 people have entrusted us to elevate their lifestyle. We love our community and strive for opportunities to give back to the community that has given so much to us, from sponsoring rotary club events and participating in chamber events to sponsoring several of our clients’ charitable foundations.

As the owner and founder, Bill’s passion for design and customer service runs deep within the roots at Cowdin. He is the visionary of the direction on the company and oversees the Design Department and all Marketing while also staying abreast with our Clients and projects under construction.

Phil works with nearly every client throughout their journey down the Design and Sales process. His calm, confident personality, combined with extensive knowledge of building code, architecture, and design is key to our Clients’ success and their beautiful finished homes.
PRODUCTION MANAGER
In addition to his degree in Construction Management, Jon also brings years of experience to CDB. He is an adamant believer in using “over-communication” to elevate our clients experience.

Michael’s decades of remodeling experience, steady demeanor and level head allow him to successfully manage the intricacies and challenges overseeing projects under construction.
