This Canton renovation unfolded in two phases, beginning with the spaces that frame the start and end of the day: the en-suite bathroom and closet.
We reconfigured the bathroom, closing an existing window opening to make room for a walk-in shower. A double-sink vanity and custom cabinetry support the room’s daily use, while a custom-built closet system extends the work into a more organized private suite.
The second phase carried the refinement through the home. We replaced the fireplace surround, installed solid-core interior doors and rebuilt the staircase and upper landing. Repainting throughout brought the updated spaces together.
Those changes operate at different scales. The shower and closet address specific functions, while the doors, staircase and fireplace shape the home’s character from room to room. Their combined effect gives the renovation continuity.
The finished work illustrates a thoughtful way to improve an existing home over time. A focused investment in the private suite became the first chapter, followed by architectural details and interior finishes that connect the rest of the house.
